What's the perfect hangover cure?

I tried out having alka seltzer tablets and water with some tylenol but it kind of works. Is there something that is 100% of a guarantee to solve those hangover problems?

  1. dont drink. or more sleep. or just do what i do and stay drunk, then you never get a hangover!!

  2. tequila

    with a beer chaser.

  3. soup, haha i know it sounds like waaa, but it does work it makes your stomach strong by giving it vitamins, gets rid of some of the acidric stuff in drinks, hydrates your body. or you could try mashed plantains, green bananas mashed, that really does work. boil them and mash them, and your good to go.

  4. "Is there something that is 100% of a guarantee to solve those hangover problems?"

What you need to do is AVOID getting a hangover in the first place. What I do is drink lots of water while I drink booze. Gatorade also helps. You finish like half a bottle before you go to sleep and you won't feel so bad the next day.

  5. a drink is best but sometimes really hard to do - personally i looove fried pickles for a hangover

  6. WATER!!! The only reason you get a hangover in the first place is because you are dehydrated.

If you're just waking up don't eat anything except a piece of dry toast. DRINK WATER WATER WATER WATER. and then you're good.

    Hope this helps.

  7. bang your head against a tree.

  8. Don't drink sweet drinks (wine/vodka coolers, champagne or too many drinks mixed with juice).  Eat before you go to bed (something significant) and have a bottle of water with Advil.

Get a lot of sleep that night, don't even try to get up until you have had at least 8 hours of sleep

Wake up and get a bottle of water, drink it...how do you feel?

If you feel like ^%#$ take another advil and go back to bed and sleep a little longer.

Don't eat a lot when you wake up...it will make you feel worse.  have a piece of toast or something light.  Have a hot shower and get some fresh air, go for a brisk walk.  If you lay in bed in the dark you will feel like h**l.  Drink something carbonated, it will help.  Other than that...don't try those "guaranteed to work" hangover cures like raw eggs with ginger or something wild like that.  It will only make you barf.

  9. Continue drinking!! lol.. well, this kinda works..

some of the best remedies include greesy foods (hit up mcdonalds or something), drinking lots of water (try to drink water before bed while you're still drunk too), and breads/pastas.

If you're too sick to consume anything, try taking some tylonol and sleeping an extra hour is possible.

  10. Here is one that has always worked for me, don't drink. Amazing how simple it is but most people overlook it.

And, no, I am not against drinking, I just against hangovers. The last one I had was the last one I had.

  15. wouldnt really know, ive never had one(d**n well lucky due to the amount of what i drink)

but water and sleep seems to work and toast when u can bare food

  16. Time.

That's it. There is no "cure" except to let your body recover. Everything else treats the symptoms.

  17. Keep going then back off gradually. "Hair of the dog".

  18. A spicy bloody mary.

  19. Put a blanket over your window make the room really dark, take some advil, and put on some music that is soothing to you and go back to sleep. if you dont have time for that just put on some dark shades, some orange juice with malibu and some good luck

good chat with mates who will console you about previous night

  22. Fried food.

However, I believe everyone is different. You probably handle alcohol differently than I do or perhaps we are similar. Your digestive tract is different than mine as are your food preferences. Furthermore, we probably hydrate differently (you may drink more or less water than I do). Keep these factors in mind when asking others how they heal:

When I'm hungover, I will usually gravitate towards heavy foods but smaller portions that I snack on throughout the day. (EX: ordering deep dish pizza and taking 9 hrs to actually finish it). This constant intake of small sustenance usually helps level out whacky blood sugar levels which can occur after a nt. of binging.

Clear sodas help ease stomach upset and crackers are an all-around neutral filler (this is a universal truth and works for just about everyone).

A little "hair of the dog" always helps as well. Try sipping on a flat beer the next morning (if you don't gag). Don't pound one down as you will just get drunker  faster as you will still have alcohol in your blood from the night before.

Lastly, HYDRATE. Water is mother nature's way of saying "there, there Drunka$s".

  23. drink water

  24. time?

  25. usually if u have another beer that will take care of it but if its a bad hangover then go to a mexican restaurant and ask for a MICHELADA it the best for hangovers its a beer with hotsauce and lime and salt...trust me it will work
