What's the point of clear mascara?

For people that have naturally really dark eyelashes. If you do, and you put  clear mascara on, it just curls them up to make them look perfect. It just makes people with naturally dark eyelashes, look like they have naturally perrfect eyelashes.

also i found that it makes mascara stay on longer when you put it over a normal one

if you wear eyeshadow, and you pick at your lashes [like me] you wear clear mascara to clean them off, because its impossible. so its just to clean them off if you dont like to wear mascara. and you can use it to control fly aways in your hair too!

I have naturally black eyelashes.

I think putting black mascara over them sometimes makes them look chunky. But only certain kinds.

I used clear just to make them look natural. I also use it when I want to look good, but go swimming.

& so when I get out of water, i dont have black smudges.

Also, if you apply black mascara in the morning, and when evening comes your mascara looks not as fresh, if you apply a thin coat of clear mascara, it makes it look like you just applied a new fresh coat, but you dont need to remove the first coat.

I have very long and thick eyelashes and I wear clear mascara to keep my lashes separated. If I wear brown or black it looks like I have a spider glued on my face. THAT'S the point of clear mascara,some of us NEED it.  Honestly.

Well some people use them on their eyebrows or if you don't have water proof mascara if you add some clear over it, it will become water proof... Also when I was little I wasn't allowed to wear mascara but I really wanted to so my mom bought me some clear mascara!

Yeah Youre Right But Some People might not like there lashes to be black just maybe just like  curved up and have like a shiny look to it..x

I'm not sure there is one apart from to lift and seperate your lashes a little which you can do with a lash comb.
