I think being a mother is way overrated especially for moms who just stay home all day with their kids and don't do anything. They except their husband to do everything but sit on their lazy asses all day long.

For example my mother never worked and raised me. But who cares?? that's her job. she's a woman. it's her job to raise me as a mother. Why should I thank her ever on mother's day. I didn't this year and she started getting all emotional and stuff. That's just g*y.

  1. i think mothers day is for the people who sell cards to make money but mums see it as bein appreciated for what they do lol

  2. Mother's Day is to honor a women that gives you life and that has cared for you!!

  3. To honor women especially mothers that have carried a child around for 9 months and to give birth to a child  you know it isn't easy thing to do you probally fold in half if you were constipated and thats just a human c**p and call for your mom maybe when you get rid of that negative attitude and have a wife you will be more appreciative of the things that they do its a whole new ball game this century woman are out in the workplace look at Hillary Clinton Oprah Cyou sound like a rebellious kid your mom should be your pride and joy you only get one i bet there is some kid out there that wish they had a mother

  4. We can reverse the question and ask, what is the point of having father's day?

I'm going to tell you something.  I'm assuming your Mom is a housewife and not working.  Up until the last 30-40 years, most mothers were housewives. You are so lucky that your father makes enough money so that your mom can stay home.

You mom carried you 9 months in her.  She gave birth to you and it was not easy!  Childbirth is very, very painful.  She makes your meals (even if she isn't a gourmet chef).  She washes your clothing.  She cleans the house.  She makes sure that you and the other children are disciplined.  She makes sure that her husband is happy the best she can.  She sacrifices her own needs for the needs of the family.

I have a test for you.  Before school starts or next time you have a break from school, switch roles with your mother.  Your mother will be able to do what she wants and you will be in charge of all.  The longer you do this experiment the better.

We are to honor our parents.  They Bible tells us this and it's in the 10 commandments.

If you don't believe in the Bible, think of what your Mom means to you.  Both Mom and Dad deserve special days of honor.  It has nothing to do with whether they hold a job. It is about the love and sacrifice that they give to you everyday of your life until they die.

If I were your mother I would be hurt too.  Then I would would also start wondering what I did wrong in raising my son to be so selfish.

  5. Misery loves company, but you wont find any here.

If she kept you home and didnt feed you all day, took away all your toys, kept you locked in your room, didnt change your dirty diapers, tortured you all day while your father was out, molested you, would you have been happier? Sadly some children experience this.

Where do you get your derogatory perception of what it means to be a woman? Obviously from a gross lack of experience. Adoption is an option, honey, no strings attached. She didnt HAVE to raise you. She didnt HAVE to do any of the things that a normal mother does. She never even had to speak to you or acknowledge your existence. You sound like an unappreciative spoiled brat.

  6. Most mothers are incredible human beings. So giving and selfless. My mom gave up so much for me and my sisters and was always there for us. Mothers day is a day where I can thank her for everything - but I will never be able to express to her how much I appreciate her.

  7. it was just created so one day out of the year you recognize what a great job your mother did blah blah blah...but i think if you have a good mother you know, she knows it, and you tell her more than once a year.  just made up for hallmark.
