  1. Math is applied everywhere in life, science is important for chemistry and physics.  This is very important for all the doctors, scientists, medical people and engineers.

  2. It depends what level you are at.  Science, I think, is always important no matter what your level.  It provides insight into the world around us and can even help us care for ourselves better.  Math didn't seem important to me until I got to Calc.  Calc has so many applications.  It is constantly used around us.  Unless you're in Calc, I doubt it could effectively be explained its applications, but it can be applied to almost anything in day-to-day life.  Therefore, all math leading up to Calc is important because that understanding is needed to grasp Calc concepts.

  3. I agree that everything is based on math or science.   You certainly would not be using your computer without them.   I disagree with the comments on calculus, though.   I took it, and have never used it once.   I do use algebra and geometry, however.   I also agree with you that most of the questions here are not important, and are posted by people who want us to do their homework to save them any thinking and studying.

  4. we use math every day...like how many donuts can i buy for 10 people with 100 dollars if one costs a  dollar.....every day stuff like that

  5. So you're not an idiot. When you're older, you'll learn that EVERYTHING can be expressed either through math and/or science.
