What's the point of......?

eye contact during s*x... I always look away for some reason, and my husband will sometimes tell me to look into his eyes or to stay with him .....what's the point of it

It's to show your love for the person. The eyes show love and emotion.

My girlfriend asks for the same thing. Which is fine with me. It's just part of intimacy. You know that saying "The eyes are the windows into the soul"? Well, your loved one wants to make a real connection with you on a spiritual level. So enjoy it, your man really loves you.

They eyes show a lot of emotion.  I think he is trying to look and see if your eyes are showing some thing in addition to what your body is saying.  When you turn away from a person then it is like you are hiding a bit of you from them.

Ok everyone is different, you don’t have to do it but he obviously benefits from it but if it makes you uncomfortable, that’s not wrong and it’s not a bad Idea to express that to him. Try half your way, half his way and see which is best for both of you. Perhaps you’ll get used to it enough to try it
