  1. Sure?

Not mickey mouse caught itself with the super glue on the trap board?

Squeaking and shrieking on the board.

    With the rolling and turning.

The more sticky it get in time.

    Luke 9.25,55-56,60

    What do you think?

  2. SAME POINT AS THE IRAQ WAR:

    INCREASE CORPORATE PROFITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$... and a little bit more in fraudulent billing.

  4. Your question is misguided.  Russia initiated this new Cold War by attacking Georgia in such a manner, and Georgia is apparently an ally to the US.  Actually, some think that the Cold War never really ended in the first place.

@tashadot's answer below:  Yeah, there's been rumors of a few people from Georgia doing something, but Russia's response was inappropriate in who they were actually targeting.

  5. Sure, blame everything on the US. It is so easy to pick on one of the best countries in the world, you silly third world person.

  6. So, tell me how did the US initiate a Cold War?  How is it all our fault again?  I know it is just because it is the US so it must be our fault.

  7. The G O P is afraid that the American people will see through their

lining the pockets of Oil Men

    and

want to start lining the pockets of their other major constituant

    defense contractors !!

  8. Alex V I think is closest to the truth.

The truth is during the original Cold War, both the USSR and the USA were very stable societies (with all their shortcomings) AND it was very easy to understand the motive of the other side: hostility, competition and defense of borders, while BOTH exported their philosophies around the world.

When the USSR dissolved in 1991, not only Russia went reeling into orbit without a readily identifiable FOREIGN enemy-so did the USA.  And nature abhors a vacuum.

Here, in the states, without the communists to worry about, Americans turned inwardly and began going after each other.  Suddenly there was political organization against g**s, amoral pundits like Ann Coulter emerged and  were given a wide audience as she went after whole communties under the American Dream (for profit, natch).

So the point is, that with this new tention, now both country's now have a comfortable and familiar posture: a clearer picture of an enemy to direct their attention to.

The Russians were never intimidated with incoming Republican administrations, and practiced pragmatism , just like the American administrations did during the Cold War.

As Roosevelt said, "nothing happens in politics by chance."

What was genuinely Georgia's motive?  Control separatists, or play the two Superpowers against each other?  It almost strikes me as a pressure relief valve.

This is a new millenium though.  The Russians want it to be their century and the Chinese are well on the way of making it the Chinese Century.  Wait till the Chinese  perfect their manufacture of cars.  Japan will be reduced to being the Italy of the Far East: makers of beautiful cars that are prohibitively expensive and impractical to own for every day people. The Chinese will supply all other niches.

One thing can be taken to the bank: the 21rst Century IS NOT the American Century.  And it's clearly time that we address our own society and forget about being the world's equivalent

of a used car dealership that specializes in exporting democracy.

  9. I don't think there's anything obvious it at all.  Some are saying Georgia started it, others that it was Russia.  Whoever did, I don't think inflammatory statements are of any benefit.

  10. An external enemy will strengthen unity inside the US, and with it's allies. Like how the US was after 911.

Georgia is also located on top of an oil pipeline.

That or Bush wants to make it incredibly difficult on his successor.
