What's the powder that sets foundation?

I've been watching how-to videos and some say to put on a pwder to set the foundation (I guess it's for liquid ones only?). what is that powder they're talking about? is it just another powder foundation they're using? or is it something completely different then what I'm thinking?

You use any powder foundation to set your foundation. Putting it on makes your foundation stay on longer. So, just use a powder foundation.

a translucent powder like cover girl powder, its like a mineral makeup. but don't use it if your pale because there is no really pale colors to choose from :( i found out the hard way

translucent powder is the one that helps set foundation/concealer & it also gives a much more polished look

Arbonne sells a Personalizer which is a green compact that you can either put under or over your makeup to help it last all day. it also reduces redness and cuts back on oil throughout the day!

Cover Girl Clean pressed powder is really great for setting makeup. Also COTY airspun loose powder is a great and inexpensive way to set your makeup. They sell it at all drug stores and its been around for years.

On a more expensive line, Lancome Photogenic loose powder works really well, esp for photos or special occasions where you need makeup to last a long time.

That is called a translucent  powder  you can get them pretty much    any wear every carriesrrys them  i use them 2 set all kinds of foundation and you can use it if u have a fair complextion but u have 2 use it lightly or it will look pale

usually people use liquid make up. after you put on liquid make up you usually put a powder over it to set it and make it last longer.
