What's the practical difference between a 4GB SDHC Card and a 4GB NON-HC Card?

for now all I know is the non HC is better because they will work with most of the devices that the 4GB SDHC do not work with.

yeah, the high capacity is only readable by certain things, better things generally, but its a higher technology, it reads and writes faster and uses the space better, but is more restricted to certain hardwares as of now, itll all change real soon.
