I'm sooo affraid. I married a US citizen, file everything on time but my case was investigated after our first interview. I got my conditional green card for 2 years on April 06 and we were called for another interview on August 06!, they separated us, asked us 100's of questions, everything went perfect and we thought it was over, but one week later Immigration officers showed up at our home, talked to the neightbor. Nothing happened since then but now I'm waiting for I-751 approval. Should I be expecting more investigations or the fact that they already investigated and let me have the green card anyways can be a good sign? Please if you have been in a situation like this tell me what happened!! thanks guys

  1. I'd say the investigation probably helped you, if you are truly married to a U.S. citizen and not just on paper. If nothing has happened since 2006, I'd say that they are satisfied that you're in a genuine marriage.
