Should i simply walk away and report it to the police?

Get a flight to The UK and report it there after a couple of weeks?

Or just go about my business and stay out of it?

Well presuming the 'abductor' was 'not very nice looking' or had a weird moustache and spoke any language but English, I would leave it a few month, and then after payment you can report it to the Police, claiming you already had but were ignored...

millions of pounds , if anybody spotted her they would do something there and then

The sad thing is there are many little girls who may look like her so it would be difficult to say for sure if you saw her or not. If you are certain you saw her then report it to the police, giving as much detail as you can as to where she was, what time and who she was with.
