  1. I think about 7-9 lbs

  2. there really isn't a proper weight gain.  Usually after birth(the first few days).... a baby will drop a few ounces, especially in breastfed babies.  This is no need for concern..... its normal.  Doctors typically like to see babies back up to there birth weight at the 2 weeks mark.  Then usually babies start to pack on some lbs.  It is normal for a baby to be double its birth weight at 4 months.  But really this is just a guide.  all babies are different and develop at different paces.  A better guide to go by is..... is your baby  eating well and do they have the proper amount of wet and poopy diapers.

  3. After one month, baby should gain 1/3 of their birthweight.

By 3 months, baby should double their birthweight.

By age 1, baby should have tripled their birthweight.

  4. my Dr. told me that they like them to gain 1/2 pound a week.  I'm not sure how long that is to last though

  5. It's different for every baby.

  6. it depends on how much they wiegh at birth.. my son was 6 lb and 3 oz and by the time he was a month old he was 9 and 4oz ..but i know by the time they are 3 months they are supposed too dubble their Weight ..
