I have two fair sized potatoes, and 1 ( 32 oz/ 2 lb ) jar of sauerkraut. Most people mix brats or sausages in with sauerkraut & potatoes, but I just want to cook sauerkraut and potatoes together! My questions are...
do I drain the sauerkraut? do I cook it before mixing it with the potatoes?
do I boil the potatoes first before mixing them with the sauerkraut? OR do I just dump the sauerkraut into the pot with the (unboiled, cleaned, cut up) potatoes...?
I know this may seem confusing--I'm sorry! If someone could give me some advice that'd be great, thanks. :)
