What's the punishment for...? ?

Looking into the opposite s*x's locker/changing rooms? My sister will be in grade 11 this September and she's sort of worried about some of the guys at her high school. On two seperate occassions, a few guys would try to look at them either while they're changing or naked. She told me the first time they barged in while the girls were changing but she didn't give much more detail. And the second time, she was in the change room alone and these guys popped out of nowhere and were approaching her while she was still in her bra and panties. She had to grab her clothes and gym bag and run to the door before the guys touched her.

I notice a change in my sister and she likes to "cover up" herself more than she use to. She goes to a public high school. I want to complain because obviously she's afraid too and she says it happened to a few of her friends too. What could the punishment be? I don't want the guys to get in any serious trouble, but I want them to learn their lesson. Is this sexual harrassment? Even if it was a mistake, what's the punishment?

Thanks in advance!

  1. They'd probably get suspended from school for a week the first time, and expelled the second time. It might depend on the history of the students; chances are these guys are already known troublemakers.

  2. definitely sexual harassment

    "This school has rules!" lol

tell the principal this is a serious and tramautic matter

  3. lol. boys these days. get them suspended now! but dont let them know you told on them.

  4. At our school, those boys would be suspended for sexual harassment.  They need to be reported---as it is NOT FUNNY; it is harassment and needs to be dealt with.  If your sister doesn't want to tell someone, then YOU need to report it to a teacher you trust.  That teacher will make sure the boys get what they deserve.

  5. well actually the punnishment will usually be big...some schools mite give the boys just 3 days OSS[out of school suspension] and others may see this as 10 days OSS it mainly depends on how strict your school is about the rules. but either way DO NOT be afraid to tell what would happen if something bad did happen one day, like a girl didnt get to the door fast enough! it may make you feel guilty for not coming forward in the first place

  6. I don't know how the locker rooms are arranged in the school but if it happens again, I'd suggest she go to her administrator and straighten the situation out. Peeking at someone would be considered sexual harassment and boys shouldn't be going around doing that on purpose. How rude!
