What's the purest simplest moisturizer around?

it seems everything irritates my skin and makes me break out, yet my skin seems dry and i need to moisturize. even oil free lotions like clinique don't seem to do well with me, nor does something basic like lubriderm anymore. not sure what i can use that will not clog my pores. i'm in my late 30's, any helpful hints?

eucerin ( the brand ) . its so good. it wont irritate your skin, and it has no scents or bad chemicals in it. my doctor recomended it, but you dont need a subscription.

Aloe vera gel.  You can get 100% pure aloe vera gel in the trial-toiletries section at Walmart for $1.  Works for me!

i didn't believe this at first but once i tried it i'll never use anything else again. Vaseline. But there's a trick to it. First wet your hands and face then with one finger just take a small amount and i do mean a SMALL amount and rub it between your hands so it mixes with the water then rub it onto your face. at first it might take a few tries before you figure out the right amount of vaseline and water. The amount is smaller than dime size. Once your skin absorbs the mixture your face should not look greasy. if it does your using to much. I thought for sure that this would break my face out since every other lotion did but unless your globing it on to your face you'll be fine.

extra virgin olive oil, believe it or not. this is good.
