  1. you have to treat not only your pets but your home.  Foggers work well, but you need to remove your cats from your home while you do it.  The best flea medicine in my experience is Frontline Plus. It is easy to use, and you can usually find it online for less than the vet sells it.  If you are inclined to treat your lawn, it isn't that hard, just a seed spreader and a bag of triazicide should do it.

  2. Flea bath the cat, flea bomb your house and vacuum a lot (put moth balls in your vacuum bags to kill 'em). water your lawns on a regular basis.Use Program (oral) or Advantage (topical) on the cats and a flea collar. And here's an oldie but a goodie: Fleas are attracted to heat. If you have a lot of carpeting, put a 1/2" deep cookie sheet with a 50/50 combo of water and oil on the rug, then put a small lamp (like a tensor) over it. The fleas jump in and drown.

  3. you spray the yard and spray the house all the walls and cupboards and closet let it dry and then it sok and then get front line plus for them its to put on their shouldners and if htey have fleas you haet to get to vet and have them wormed.

  4. frontline

  5. frontline plus. it sounds expensive ( 9 to 12 dollars per dose) but it really is not considering that you only use one dose per month and you only have 2 kitties. it is what I use on my 13 kitties. very safe and very effective.

the frontline is not a shot and it is not for internal use! you just squeeze a tiny bit of oily type medicine on the skin on the back of the cat's neck- and you're done!

  6. ok we had the same problem...go to a store like kroger and buy some flea bombs they work very well...we set them off in our house and we came back and NO FLEAS for at least 3 or 4 months and then put like frontline and k9 Advantix on them that should do it

  7. I used the collars that you get from a local petstore for my two cats, but it got them sick. You can still try.

So I would get frontline thing that you clap into your cat its sorta like a shot and it keeps them off for a month. It works instantly, so put them outside right after you put it on otherwise they will come off in your house and on you.

Use the Capstar right away. It will kill all fleas on your cat with in an hour. It is imperative that you do not skip this. Frontline Plus is only effective if the flea bites the cat. Fleas have a 3 week lifespan and only feed for a few days of that three weeks, so you must use Capstar to kill all live fleas on your cat. After you capstar add on the Frontline Plus with in 12 hours and it will keep fleas off your cat for 30 days. No vet visit required and totally safe. Any eggs that hatch will be killed when they feed by the Frontline.

Frontline contains fipronil, which spreads via the body oils killing fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours. Ticks are generally killed before they bite, decreasing the risk of tick-borne disease transmission. Approved for use on kittens 8 weeks and older.

Frontline Plus also contains (S)-methoprene, an Insect Growth Regulator, which prevents an insect from maturing or reproducing. Approved for use on kittens 8 weeks and older.

You can use FRONTLINE flea and tick control once a month and it's completely waterproof. Provide your cat with the best flea and tick protection, right from the start.
