What's the quickest way to get stain and polyurethane off a door?

Any suggestions on chemicals? If sandpaper, any suggestion on a particular grit? I stained my new door, only to find out that one side has white spots all over it. I'm attempting to only refinish the one side. By the way, the door is made from pine.

If the door is plain without surface irregularities, use a belt sander to remove quickly, followed by a finish sander and 100 grit. to smooth the sanding grooves from the belt sander.
