  1. a person who can see things through no other perspective than through the lens or race is, himself, a ....... what?

here's a hint.... it ends in "-ist"...

As a so-called "minority", my job is not to convince you that I am as good as you...As a person firm in my beliefs, my job is not to convince you of the legitimacy of my beliefs...

  2. Well, there are many reasons.

First, there would be the reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts. According to what I've read, that will push our current taxes sky high.

Then there is inexperience. What was it--173 days that Obama was actually a senator? C'mon, how much experience is that? That's (almost) how old my puppy is.

And the main thing--the absolute, totalitarian government that would be after Obama is elected (if he is elected). Completely socialist, redistribution of wealth. Well now what would happen to the American dream?

  3. I dont like where he stands on abortion is one reason.

Another reason is I dont think this contry is ready for a black president. I am not being racist. I think it would be cool to have a president of a different race other than white(not trying to sound bad by saying that) but some americans are not ready themselves.

  4. Race has nothing to do with it. He is crooked through and through. And I don't care how many showers he takes, he will always be dirty. I bet the family's of the 3 men he had relations with, that turned up dead, feel the same way I do. He has no business being President, he should be in prison.

  5. He shouldnt even be considered american, he went to muslims schools his whole life,he grew up with muslims, hes african-american and you know how america is with racism even though america is a country of all races.oh and some people are not worried about him being elected because most likely he'll get shot soon enough.

  6. I agree it's because he's part African-American. Not to sound morbid or anything, but I think 1-2 generations need to die off before the idea of a person who has African-American blood in them becoming U.S. president doesn't raise any eyebrows. I know he will be our next president but I'm just saying.

  7. Racism is obviously a huge part of it. All this harping on about the totally irrelevant Jeremiah Wright, McCain trying to link Obama with Paris Hilton and Britney Spears (which is the sort of thing that would have gotten Obama lynched just a few years ago) - I'm not saying the republican strategists are racist themselves, they are equal opportunity haters, but they sure know how to blow the dog whistle.

  8. Inexperience is code for "we don't have much else to say about him"

No experience can prepare you for a presidency.

Plus he's a black man who believes he can run the country, and that makes him a Marxist, messiah, and a Muslim. Or so some racists say.

  9.   Come on people, the only reason you wouldn't vote for Obama is you think six months into his presidency there will be junk car on the whitehouse lawn.Watermelon in the backyard, and clothes hanging on the security fence. It's amazing how people judge other people. It doesn't matter if you have a college education and are trying to do good, you're black, therefore you're a bum, freeloader,or whatever.Brotherly love my #ss.

  10. Truly i believe race is a part of it but i also know that we are not all ignorant bigoted people , and speaking for myself i do not think Sen.Obama is yet right for the job. Its a very big responsibilty

inexperience is my absolute, and only reason for not voting for Sen Obama. I get irate when people so rudely and insistantly quip that

if u are white and not voting for Sen.Obama immediately i am labeled

a racist...This is Wrong, its untrue and the bigotry and bias lies

squarely on the shoulders of the people calling the unkind names.

I have no doubt in my mind that great things are in store for this very well spoken and ambitious young Senator, i do not think this is his time, i can actually visualize The Debate of the Century==PALIN vs OBAMA

  11. Oh my, now that is just sad! Only a racist would ask a question like that in the first place.  It is people like you that stops the progress for everyone!

How about because some may just not agree with what he believes in? Oh wait, I forgot you have got you race-blinders on!

  12. I don't believe he is qualified. I'd like to know what the real reason why some Americans WANT Obama to be president.

I doubt its the most popular reason I hear:That he is a brilliant speaker who promises change.

Could that be any more vague?

  13. Racism.

That, and hardcore Rethugs, conservatives, etc., think liberalism is the devil, and Obama trying to seem like a liberal, well you get the drift.

I've been a Dem, liberal etc. all my life, but I don't want Obama to be Prez.  I want the Dems to lose big all across the board.  Simply put, Obama is just a face that the machine could use to sway voters, enthuse them into thinking they are voting for the messiah himself.  Barack doesn't really have quality leadership experience, and to me doesn't think well on his feet.  He is very well polished in front of a teleprompter though.

The Dems had the cherries to be picked this year, and they nominated Barack Obama.  Hillary would have been worse.  The Dems need to lose, get destroyed, so theat the true evil, the Dark Side that is the republican party, can finalize the descent into real facism.  Maybe then people will wake the f*ck up and realize that there hasn't been a President for the people in a long time, and maybe forever.  Most of are kept a paycheck or two from total ruin our whole lives, while the real wizards behind the curtain rake in everything we've got.

I don't want Obama to be President because I am tired of the disappointment, tired of more of the same, tired of the people being kept down, tired of our military complex being the single largest drain on our economy, not defending us, just offending us.  I'm tired of rampant police brutality, tired of being spied upon, and most of all, I'm am sad that 9/11, perpetrated by facets of our own government and blamed on "the terrorists", will forever be passed off as the reason we have to kill the rest of the world.

Obama sure as h**l is not going to change that.

  14. Your opinion tells me alot about you.

Obama is NOT the best person for the job. He will take the problems we already have (economy, national security etc) and make them worse. Higher taxes is not the answer. Talking with Iran will not help the threat they pose. His judgement is questionable at best. I don't really want him making decisions that affect my children. Another problem is his experience (or lack there of) that is extremely problematic in my mind. He has done nothing to prepare himself as the leader of the free world. Even while he has been in the Senate, he continued to vote "present" rather than make IMPORTANT decisions. No thank you, I'll pass.

    Game ON

    McCain/Palin '08

  15. Knowing my family and other white middle and working class people that make up a huge portion of America, it's really because they're racist. The average American is an idiot who'll vote for someone based on one trait about them like the color of their skin.

  16. im sorry but if i do not like a person then i do not like them. it has NOTHING to do with his race. i dont like that he thinks that people in america are stupid for not knowing a second language (i can speak 3 fluently) ONE IS LATIN. so h**l know, speak for yourself obama. and i dont like any of his ideas. they are all ridiculously out of the question. AND his children are COMPLETELY out of control.

  17. He is a socialist.  He wants to take from those who work hard and are responsible for themselves and give to those who expect the government to take care of them, even when their hardships are due to their own bad choices.

  18. I have asked myself that question.  I'm not sure if I want him to be president or not.  I didn't vote for Kerry either and I see Kerry and Obama as somewhat alike.  Too liberal.  Too emotional.  Too motivated by that "poor me" attitude.  Bill Clinton didn't come off that way, nor did Gore.  Bill said he would balance the budget, create millions of jobs, reform welfare, etc.  Then he did it.

Obama has flip flopped on 3 major issues already saying he was against the FISA bill then voting for it.  Saying he was going to use public financing, then didn't.  Tonight he said the surge worked better than his wildest dreams when yesterday he would not say the surge worked.  There is another that escapes me right now.

Frankly, I don't have any idea whether this man just panders or where he really stands on anything.  A president has to be decisive, not rigid, but these things are pretty clear cut.  I just don't know what I would be voting for.  I'm not too impressed with McCain either.  I'll just watch the debates to see if I vote for president at all.

  19. You've heard all the reasons.

Rev Wright and his church of hate whitey.

William Ayers and his terrorism and friendship.

He is an empty suit. plain and simple with no experience. He is not ready to be President of this great country.

  20. It's not a race issue at all.  It's many things, His association with radicals, Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson(oh wait, JJ want's to cut off his @#$%)  His socialist views, big government, his inexperience....

  21. They are afraid that Obama will turn America socialist (which some believe is communism and taking away they're rights, fyi its not), like almost all the rest of the western world. Yes, I said it.

And yes, there are more taxes, but better public services perhaps universal health care? Cheaper better education among other things? Most people can't look at the big picture and many others are just ignorant.

Anyways, I can't vote so all I can do is watch. Sucks.

  22. They are too stupid to get past ideology.

Conservative, liberal, and thats all they see.

They dont care that the republicraps have been s******g us for 8 years, as long as thy say their conservative.

They dont care that soldiers are dying in iraq to line the pockets of oil companies. As long as they are conservative.

Just take Bill clinton as an example, on h**l of a president, made a surplus in the economy and everything. But was that enough for people? no, they have to bring up his infedelity. I couldnt care less about his personal life, he made it so that everything was affordable and our soldiers never went and died by the thousands needlessly in her term.

Same goes for Bush, I dont care about his d**n personal life, the guy screwed us over and is still s******g us over. how is he a good president? How is McCain a good president? He isnt. He is a good man, a war hero, but that isnt going to make gas cheaper or the war end, is it?

  23. raise taxes, make government bigger with more useless programs, starve the taxpayers by not opening up offshore drilling, pulling out troops before they win the war completely, the list goes on and on. Most people besides the hardcore rednecks don't put the fact Obama's black into the equation.

  24. The real reason is because he has not nearly enough experience, he's unqualified, he's an idiot, he can't answer a simple question, and he's a democrat.

It has nothing to do with racism, that's ridiculous.

  25. Bud Light salutes you player of the race card (a real American heeeero)

You dismiss the issues of the day as irrelevant

and only focus on the most obvious distinction between the candidates, the pigmentation of their skin.

(if you don't vote for my candidate you're racist)

Attempting to instill guilt into anyone that disagrees with you.

You continuously bring it up even after you're candidate flip flops, goes to a church for 20 years and says he never heard his preacher talk like that, even after writing about it in his memoir.

    Over and over and over

Bud Light salutes you for lowering the bar.

  26. That's not why I'm not voting for him. I don't think that he's qualified; he's more of an theorist. I don't agree with his ideas on universal health care or his taxation plans. While he does have some other good ideas, I don't feel confident in him. He's too liberal.

  27. I agree. race has a biggest deal with than the average american wants to admit. No one wants talk about his mother but his father is on the for front, his grandparents who are still alive are barley mention or in passing but the trip to Kenya he took in his early years to connect with his father side of the family makes him a MUSLIM AND ENEMY FOR SURE, darn him for finding out about his father. Stating a lack of experience is so ridiculous.

African American civil right bill was only signed 40 years ago. It amazes me how people forget that. It is still not a law that I can vote, which is a disgrace.

  28. Bcoz he is Colored, Honest, believes in equality to all!!!

The answer to the last question is one: Money!!!!

I am a cancer researcher; I make more than 250000 a year and I am in a smaller tax bracket than most of you. But I feel for this country unlike everyone else

  29. Wright, Ayers, Farrakhan, Reyes, Odinga.  Obama supported Odinga.  Odinga supports Sharia Law.  Obama wants to lower our defense.  Obama wants to play patty cake with the people who want us dead.  No thank you.  I'll vote McCain.

  30. I think the racism evens out in the end. People will vote for him  just because he is black and also not vote for him for the same reason. But in reality he is just a weak candidate. There was no strong Democratic candidate this time around, he's more of a publicity stunt than anything. A very weak leader that would rather not be part of a decision, than make a difficult one, and for that, he isn't the man for the job.

  31. Of course. It's all racism. See, we all got together in Bubba's backyard and said, "Hey, y'all, let's not vote for Obama 'cuz he ain't white."

There are many reasons I don't want the man to be president.

    1. Ties with terrorists.

    2. Wants to sit down and have tea with terrorists.

    3. Wants to let all the illegals stay.

    4. Not nearly enough experience.

    5. Voted for letting babies who survive abortion die instead of receiving medical care.

    6. Too liberal.

    7. Elitist.

    8. Made fun of anyone who believes in God. (Clinging to their religion and guns)

I could go on, but all this typing is making my hands cramp up.
