What's the reason for this and how can I resolve it?

I am editing a video and the images appear very red and grainy in white skin people. It wasn't like that yesterday. Why is that?

where did you play yesterday your movies? was it from your camcorder or on the pc. did you mean the final video on the dvd looks red and grainy aswell or is it on the LCD monitor? check the settings of your monitor. play the original video files using media player, does it still have problems? that is the way you can get into the problem.

First of all I am not familiar with MAC, try to load your movies on high quality to computer (less compression) which would give you better picture on full screen.
