What's the relationship between soaring food prices, ethanol, soaring gas prices, and livestock feed?

  1. ethanol is made from corn and other farmed foods,more money can be earned from ethanol then the sale of the food it is made from.


  2. We are in a recession.  Everything is going to cost more.  Until our government decides to do something nice for the American people, we will continue to suffer together.

  3. The Earth is their common relationship. Everything you mentioned comes from the earth (food, ethanol, natural gas, and feed). Global Warming is steadily deteriorating our natural resources. When the crops are destroyed due to irregular temperatures or lack/abundance of water then the prices for the grains we eat go up as well as the price for the grains we feed livestock (meats we eat). These same grains are used to make certain "Go Green" gasoline's, which in turn will see price inflation in contrast to gas prices reaching unbearable limits...
