Question:

What's the right golf grip for my driver?

I went and had mid-size Winn grips put on all of my irons recently. The only clubs I haven't re-gripped is my Driver & 3-Wood.

The guy at PGA Superstore told me a mid-size grip was best for my hand, and that's what I got for my irons.

I'd like to hear your opinions on gripping my driver. Should I just go ahead and get the same new grips for my Woods? or should I get another mid-sized grip thats a little more rough (chord grip). I heard Dual Durometer's are nice.

Let me know your thoughts.

  1. Winn just came out with some corded grips. They are amazing!! You should definately check them out.

  2. Well have you played with the new grips on the irons yet??  How did they work.  Generally you would want the right size for all your clubs so if the irons feel better then get the woods done the same.

Hey Mueller your avatar looks too much like mine, since I have seniority you should change yours.

  3. yea go for the dual durometer's they are really good grips

    go for the red/black colours

  4. I'm a big fan of Winn grips, but being more of a "traditionalist", I like their standard black grips that look like a wrap.  Nice, soft feel, but stay tacky.
