  1. Let him sit on both. Buy the biggest that he can sit on with both feet on the ground. I would also suggest buying a used bike. At his age he'll probably grow enough to need a bigger one in a year or two and to keep buying new will get real expensive.

  2. Firstly I would take him to a shop to sit on both bikes, but a 65 may be almost too small for an 11 year old.

The 85cc come in small wheels and large wheels, so if you got the small wheels he should be fine.  If he cannot quite reach the ground you can get the suspension adjusted and also cut the foam seat down by removing the cover and using an electric knife.  If you do that neatly and end up with two pieces when he grows you can put the removed piece back.  Once you have cut the foam put the cover back on and use a staple gun to staple back in place.

  3. if i were you, i'd get the 85 whether he can ride it now or not :p eventually he'll grow into it... but i can garuntee he'll outgrow the 65 really fast, if he's not already over it.

  4. Go with the 85, he'll out grow the 65 in no time.

  5. 2008 KX85!!!
