  1. going home from school a rich kid got new motorcycle and driving up and down street showing off.  he clipped the rear of car while passing and slid into my boyfriends motorcylcle head on and sent then to hospital.

he was lucky only in hospital for a few months.  then took awhile to be back to no pain.

the rich kid no problems but daddy didn't buy him a new motorcycle for a few months.

  5. I was at a stoplight here in San Diego about a year ago and I see this hobo coming down the hill across from me on a beat up old ten speed. He was going very fast not slowing down.I realized he didnt have any brakes. He dodged a coupla cars then hit the curb headon. You should have seen the look on his face before he flew 15-20 ft in the air over the handlebarsand landed in a crumpled heap!It was priceless!I really felt sorry for him,but I laughed so hard I think I pissed my pants!Sorry hobo dude...

  6. I only witnessed one, thank God.  My mother and I were coming out of my work place, a hospital, and were at the red light coming out of the parking lot.  There were some people standing across the street waiting for the bus. They were up on the lawn of the house and it was higher than the sidewalk. Some lady in a big car came roaring down the street and had to swerve up onto the sidewalk because she failed to notice the line of stopped cars at the now red light on their side.  She went sailing up oto the sidewalk and lawn, knocked one of the girls up into the air where she landed about 10 feet away wedged under the tires of a parked car on the side street.  The lady kept going across the sidestreet and down two more houses on the sidewalk where she rammed into a tree.  No remorse, no nothing on her part. She just stood there. Never came over to see if the gril was ok or not.  I got out of the car and ran across the street and held the girls head up a bit because it was pouring rain and her head was almost under the water that was coursing into the sewer.  It took 3 men to lift the car up so they could get her out. She was awake the whole time.

I actually saw her later the next day as she had to have surgery on her leg that was broken in a bunch of places. I was on call the next evening and had to scrub in on her case.  She was one of our nursing students.  The lady that hit her was one of those wonderful people on welfare, no license and no insurance, no job but a nice big Cadillac.  So probably the girls  parents ended up footing the bill for everything.

  7. when I was about 14....some guy was driving reckless....and hit a kid on a bike....then tried to take off....some of the people in the neighborhood made him stop...pulled him out of the car and beat him severely......it was crazy....there were cops every where.....what was stupid was the ambulance couldn't even get threw....the little girl looked bad....but she did have a helmet...she survived....but it was something I have never forgotten..
