What's the scariest car experience you've been in?

Yesterday, my sister and I were going to church. Our light had just turned green and my sister took a few seconds to start into the intersection because she was finishing fixing her hair. Then, out of nowhere, a car flew by us in the perpendicular direction, just barely in front of us, running the red light. If my sister had not hesitated before she entered the intersection, we would have been T-boned.

Nearly getting squashed between a semi-trailer and a concrete wall on a bridge at 60mph. This happened about 5 yrs ago on an interstate while commuting to where I used to work. I was on my way to work doing 60 in the right lane. There was a semi truck behind me. He pulled into the left lane to pass me. When the truck was even with my car (he could see me through the window in the door b/c I could see him) he changed lanes without signaling. I was forced onto the shoulder. The truck kept moving towards the right forcing me within an inch of scraping the concrete wall of the bridge with the side of my car. I got my car stopped just as the tail end of the trailer was passing. The rear corner of the trailer was within 2 inches of smashing my car. Thank God I was in a Volvo 240 sedan. If I had been in any other vehicle I don't think I would be here today to talk about it.
