  1. the slowest speeds come in the high mountains and it would depend on the individual but I am sure it is still faster than any real human being can ride.

  2. rcgolf, thats whats 99% or yahoo answers is nowa days, bull ****, heres a good answer for u;

    im thinking maybe 30 or below, it depends what part there at, im sure they go slower on the hills than on the flat or down hill, but i would say 20 or 30 but its hard to say, it really is

  3. Evil J took the words out of my mouth.

  4. On some of the steep climbs they're under 10mph.  If you watch, you can see spectators keeping up with only a slow run.

  5. The last 3 days in the tour have been relatively flat and they have averaged over 25 mph each day.  When they get into the more mountainous stages the average drops to the low 20's but never blow that.  so obviously they go slower than 20 at some points but they also get up to over 50 mph on the backside of some of the higher mountains

    hope that helps

  6. 0 when they are at the starting line and at the finish, or when they stop to take pictures by the side of the road, or when they crash, or when they stop to take pictures of somebody who crashed.
