What's the soonest you can take a belly piercing out?

I just got it done 4 weeks ago, it is healing very well. There is no more pain or soreness and I can play with the jewelry and twirl it around and it looks like its done. Should I wait longer? I can't wait to change it out.

  1. Sounds like you are ready to change it out. :)

  2. You can take that little tramp stamp out and let it heal anytime you want. The sooner the better since you'll have less scaring if you take it out now.

  3. i switched mine a month after its been done

    and it perfectly fine

just cleannnnn the new one before you put it in

  4. i waited 2 weeks and changed it, and it was fine. but when you do change it, i advise you to soak it in hot water, and then change it.

  5. sounds ready to change but disinfect your new belly bar before you put it in :)

  6. they tell you a few months or something but no one i know including me waited that long, i waited about 4 weeks and then mine looked fine so i switched it out, i've had mine for years and never had an issue not one infection or anything.

  7. personally i would wait a couple more weeks to be on the safe side. it may look fine on the outside but that's not saying that the inside of the piercing is completely healed. removing and changing out too fast can cause scar tissue inside and make it harder to change out. that happened to me and now i have to be very careful about changing them in and out.
