  1. Dark energy or dark matter?

  2. You already know.  Why ask?

  3. 186,200 miles per second.Dark is the same speed as light. If light travels at this speed it will also dissipate at that speed.Darkness will envelope the area at the same speed.

Actually,if u think logically Dark is faster than light you can see it...

Whenever light goes off the dark comes there first as the speed as the light goes off,...essentially same speed as the light....

  4. Astrophysically, 'dark' is the final point of light having transferred all of its energy to the surrounding plasma. Hence it has stopped moving.

  5. Absolute "dark" would mean a total absence of light.

Therefore it would have no speed at all.

Imagine someone at a distant point switching on a torch.

The light from the bulb would travel towards your eye at a velocity of 186,000 miles per second.

Switch the torch off and light beam would stop. no more light... zero velocity.

  6. Hello Zboyet!

If you mean that Darkness is the absence of Light, then it has no speed.

If you mean how quickly that Darkness "evolves" (q.v.) it would be at the same speed as Light disappears, when it is turned off.

As NEITHER LIGHT, NOR TOTAL DARKNESS are "visible" one can not deduct any true "Visual Speed" of darkness ("at rest", q.v.).

LIGHT IS INVISIBLE, and we can not see it, only it's reflection.  Yes, we can see it bounce off "particles of dust" and such . . .

This may be confusing, as much convention refers to "Visible Light", it refers to the light that is reflected into the eye of the observer.

Darkness is the "total absence of Light" and therefore the human eye can not discern anything at all in Total Darkness.

ANY Light at a distance would effect AND NULLIFY  the concept of "Total Darkness".

Hope this was helpful . . . ? even if it was confusing!  But then, reality can be very confusing when one is not bound by "convention".
