  1. the fatest train of the world is currently under testing but as per news its highest speed is 620 kmph as it doesnt run on the railway track. a magnetic effect works between the tire and the path due to which the train only flot in the air. after that the fastesrt train is currently runing in japan they call it shinkansen the bullet train its highest speed is 560-580 kmph.

  2. 357.16mph

  3. The speed record for the fastest conventional train was set on 3rd April 2007 when a shortened French TGV train, number 4402, ran at 574.8 km/h (357.18 mph).

The fastest maglev train is the Japanese Maglev-MLX01 which ran 581 km/h (361.01 mph) on 2nd December 2003.

  4. A magnetically levitating (maglev) train has the highest speed record developed by the Japanese. JR Maglev MLX01 has the speed of 581 kmh and currently the world's fastest train.

  5. you answer is a bit broad for a direct answer, do you mean in regularly scheduled service?

or strictly experimental? that changes on an almost monthly basis.

Are you counting maglev? they dont run on conventional rails so some people dont count them as trains, the fastest maglev and fastest hi speed conventional rail is usually within a few MPH of each other although maglev probably has higher potential.

The fastes thing on rails although it may not exactly qualify as a train is an unmanned sled on rails at Holloman AFB at well over the speed of sound.

  6. World's fastest train is the Maglev (short for magnetic levitation) which can do 357 mph.

  7. The worlds fastest train traveled 77.3 miles at an average speed of 81.8 miles per hour
