I have a 98 ford ranger with 169,000 miles on it. It has brand new shocks on the front and rear, and they were bad, but it still squeaks when I hit bumps in the road. Do I need new leaf and or coil springs? I did move a lot of weight in it both times I moved.

  1. You drive a ford, there's your problem.

  2. my answer is try to check it out first on auto repair shop..

  3. It could be the places where the struts attach to the car, under the hood. If those are loose, you will get creaking.

Power steering can cause creaking, if its low.

    Breaks can also squeel....
