What's the temperature like?

Im going down to Italy in May, I was wondering how warm will it get? Is it really hot?

  1. Would be warm, sure not hot. "Hot" apply more for July and August, especially in central.southern Italy.  

    It also depends on where are you going: generally North is colder, South warmer, although during latest years there was less difference than in the past: just now, the average in Northern main cities is 12-14 C (53-57 F) while in South is 13-16 (57-60), and there even are some southern cities a little colder than some northern ones...


  2. it depends on the region..Last year about 20 of may i was in Ravenna, it was hot like in july..Then after some days turned to cold..

    Usually the weather is nice but sometimes in the north there is some rain..

  3. Yeah, with the greenhouse effect it might even reach 100 already in May.
