  3. 2 terms of 4 years is the the max! Just imagine that terrorists have been running the US of A for 12 years. Won't mention any names but their initials are george bush!

You can serve two terms of four years, or up to ten years in office.  The ten years comes into play if.. for instance said President is the Vice President, and the acting President dies after two years in office.  Then, the Vice President can take over, finish the term, and then run for two more terms of his/her own.
