What's the theme of a soccop dance?

we're having one at school but i can't remember the basic theme of it

Are you sure you don't mean a 'sock hop'?  It was just an informal dance sponsored dance at high schools, and was popular during the 50's.  It was called a sock hop because people were expected to remove their shoes.  

Aside from that, there is no other theme aside what the organizers may give it.
