  1. It isn't.

    The eclipse isn't visible from the US this time.


  2. In North Eastern Canada, the solar eclipse started at sunrise.  That's in the past.  It's over.  But you didn't miss it.  You could only miss it if you lived in North Eastern Canada.  You never had the opportunity to miss it.

    And yet, you can still see it.  I understand that you have a wayback machine right in front of you this very instant.  And you can use it whenever you want to see the full total eclipse.


  3. That's because, except for the very northeastern edge of Maine, it was not visible anywhere in the United States.  But it all started at sunrise, Eastern time, this morning.

    So don't bother going out to look for it -- it's done!  YOu will be able to find lots of sites with archived video footage, though, and I'm sure it will be prominently featured on the nightly news.

    The next solar eclipse visible in the U.S. will be in 2017.
