Including tillage, planting, seed, fertilizer, herbicide/s, insecticides and harvest.

I'm a farmer from Argentina and our total cost for corn is around 160$/acre for a high yield (around 220 bu/acre).

I'm not including land value and there is no irrigation.

  1. I don´t

  2. Rent 100-150, Seed 30-50, Chemicals 25-50, Fertilizer 65-100, Planting 10-15, Spraying 5-10, Harvesting 25, Drying 0-30, Hauling 10-20.  270-450 dollars per acre.  Not to mention the DIRTIES (Depreciation, interest, repairs, taxes, insurance, supplies).  270 dollars an acre figure would be for poor soils and 450 would be for black well-drained soils.  Yields on our farm vary from 145 bushel to 230 bushel.  Planting, spraying and harvesting rates are based on local custom farming rates.
