  1. all of them if they underestimate them. Agrentina, Spain, Italy, Greece (again), Russia, China (Yao). Anyone can beat them if they underestimate them, which I am afraid will happen. I hope not though,

  2. Argentina

  3. Spain will be the toughest talent wise, but I expect China to be dangerous as well because they are the home team and the crowd will be pumped up big time

Argentina would be the toughest if they play them in the tournament.

  4. it will be argentina, spain, or greece

  5. Some sports analysts say Greece plays best as a TEAM.

Argentina is the reigning Gold medalists.

China Home Court advantage, Yao in the middle

US has played pretty well so far.  Defense has pretty much controled the tempo, and USA can pretty much score when they really need to, nearly at will.  Howard is an animal inside, Lebron is attacking the rim,  Kobe went off in the third tonite, virtually everybody is contributing in the games played so far.  Looks good for US.

    Nor Cal

  6. i would say USA. team themselfs. check this who i n the hello can even come close to this team talent wise ,leadership wise, skill wise i mean they have it all ,the olny thing worries me is team wise i know so far so good but in a close game n if they are struggling same time we could c some seriouse problems n that's the toughs team USA has 2 go through.

  7. Argentina might give them some trouble, China could with their size and "homecourt" advantage.  Spain will be tough too I think.

  8. my top 3

    1 argentina

    2 russia

    3 germany

  9. Argentina

  10. Spain will be the toughest by far. They are also undefeated in exibition play. They have the Gasol brothers, Pau (an NBA all-star) and Marc, starting in the post. Jose Calderon, the Toronto Raptors point guard runs the offense. Seventeen year old phenom Ricky Rubio backs him up. Other recent NBA players on the team include Juan Carlos Navarro, Rudy Fernández, and Jorge Garbajosa; seven in total.

Argentina is too old, and Greece doesn't have enough talent. They're a bit overrated in my opinion.

China could be a dark horse. They have maybe the biggest homecourt advantage in basketball history. Gold would mean the more to them than any team in the Olympics. Yes, even the US. US players don't have to deal with communist reprocussions at every turn. Then of course they have Yao, who Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh don't exactly have a history of shutting down to say the least.

But looking at the big picture, nobody will be too much trouble for this US team. I just don't see it happening.

  11. Spain i mean this team plays so fast paced.

I really heard an ESPN broadcaster say spain would be the toughest.

  12. U.S. is Gold, Argentina though but still will win!

    Kobe, James, Wade....Top 3

  13. Argentina, but their first Olympic game is against China. In my opinion the first game is always the hardest because of all the anticipation and excitement.

  14. Argentina and España only. The old Yugoslavia could have given this team a threat. I chose those two because of their height ceiling and their experience having won the last two significant international basketball gold (Olympics and World Championships).

    2EZ!!

  15. China, they are huge.

  16. Argentina,Russia, Italia, Grecia (Greece), Germania, Spania...

  17. Spain

  18. greece

  19. Japan or argintina

  20. It could very well be China.

If you ask me why, I'll just say that this will probably be the dirtiest Olympic Games ever, and the way the games will be fixed will p**s a lot of us off in other sports too.

  21. Basically none. The USA team look ready and well prepared to storm through the Olympics tournament on their way to a Gold Medal. The USA team can run when the other team allow them to and can play grind-it-out, defense type of a game as evident with their 89-68 victory over Russia.

No doubt this USA team will take the Gold. Go USA!

  22. *~Greece~*

    *~Italy~*

  23. 1. Spain

    2. Argentina

    3. China

If the team works together, we should see USA bring home the Gold medal.
