I'm going to the Urologist soon. The doctors said I don't have a UTI (for once I kinda believe them since I took everything (from medicines to alternative vitamins/foods). I have to pee sometimes every 10 minutes! It ranges. Anyway, what is the treatment for intersitial cystitis? (not cystitis)

And does it work/help?

  1. Many in the Alternative Health field believe that Interstitial Cystitis is caused by Candida (Yeast) and / or Food Allergies / Sensitivities.   So the next step is to be tested for Candida and Food Allergies.  Your doctor can do a urine test for Candida.  You can be tested by an Interro machine for food sensitivities.  Naturopaths often have Interro machines.   You would then eliminate the foods that cause the cystitis (such as Dairy Products, wheat, orange juice ( and other acidic foods), etc.- food perservatives and other chemical additives by the way are a big cause of systemic allergic reactions).    Try going without these foods for a while and see if it helps.  Good Luck.
