What's the true meaning of "communist"??

i think its an economic system where the government controls all business (?) and all social classes are eradicated making everyone equal. it was thought up by karl marx i think but was never successful.

its the opposite of capitalism where the government does not control business, privet companies do.

a communist beieves in everyone working for a common good. communism is an economic model that suggests everyones goods and services are mutually exchnged with no profit to anyone.

for example, if you go hunting for the tribe and bring in a big buck deer while someone else was making shoes, you get shoes and he gets food. meanwhile, the farmers are growing crops exchanged for meat and shoes and the other dude is making a hammer that is exchanged for food and shoes. no muss no fuss.....everyone works for the common good of the tribe, BUT everyone must contribute....read karl marx, das kapital, for more info....

the problemo with communism is, lets say you go hanting 6 weeks in a row and dont bring in a deer. well, you still need shoes. THEN lets say you sue him and need legal council. get it? it works in theory but not in practice, because how are you gonna pay your lawyer....aye aye aye....

A communist gov't is extremely strict and controls what most Americans would call freedoms.

You can't speak ill of the gov't, your personal finances are regulated, you utility usage is regulated, and generally there does not have to be probable cause for the police power to harrass you, or search and seize.

a government where everybody sends all their crops, money, ect. to the government who then is SUPPOSED to distribute it evenly to everyone. unfortunately, the idea of fairness was short lived, as many took this as a way to get into the government.they soon corrupted this once glorious system, got intensely strict with their citizens, throwing away freedom of press, freedom of speech, and sometimes freedom of religion. they kept a huge percentage of what was shipped to them and distributed the bare minimum. communism could work very well in a government, if only it was run by uncorrupted unselfish folk.
