What's the truth about Palin?

Here are the facts (footnoted sources below):

She was elected Alaska's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.1

Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.2

She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000. 3

Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.4

She's doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.5

She's solidly in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first" energy policy. She's pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won't be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.6

How closely did John McCain vet this choice? He met Sarah Palin once at a meeting. They spoke a second time, last Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position.7

  1. She was elected Alaska's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.1

-- She has actually been in an executive post, something Obama and Biden have never done.  Both will be learning on the job from day one.  At least she has done this before.

Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.2

-- I'm pro life so I like this stand.

She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000. 3

-- Pat Buchanan is a brilliant and insightful man.

Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.4

-- You have a point here.

She's doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.5

    -- And we're not.

    I'll go with Palin.

  2. Palin is amazing, it's time for someone with right opinions about creationism and abortion to be given some power.

  3. I would like to thank you for at least putting out accurate information.  I am aware of all those things, and that is why I am for her.  Others could look at the same information and go the other way.  But at least it is good information, and not hysterical sexist lies.

Sarah Palin has been talked about as a VP for several months, and I am sure McCain had all the information he needed.  It's not like he is picking a drinking buddy...this is a political office.

  4. She has a very mean streak. No doubt that she did not instigate the firing of her sister's ex-husband.

  5. Good job. She might have otherwise had a bright future had she been given the opportunity to grow up and out of some of her prehistoric thinking. She will end up being made to look like a fool - one for being so dam arrogant to allow her ego to accept such a position. Two by her own party after the elections are over and they blame her being the cause for losing the election.

  6. Marvin is right, I will pick Sarah.  And since we're talking about ethics and morality, what about Obama who is for the killing of innocent born children. Please  read and listen to the websites below.

And we truely need a Non-Freemason in the VP so she won't have to listen to their same as always c**p. Biden has been in a long time, and he has compromised his Catholicism that I can't tell he is even a Catholic.  I am not for people who compromise for popularity.

Sarah is right on for me.

  7. And here is some truth about her nightlife:

  9. The L.A. Times just popped a big story the Obama-Biden folks don't want to be reading the night the Delaware senator introduces himself to the nation: a potential conflict of interest involving Biden and one of the nation's biggest asbestos litigation law firms — which also happens to be his top contributor.

The report seems to provide fuel to Obama supporters enraged Illinois senator picked a running mate with such deep ties to the D.C. cash-politics-lobbying world.
