just saw it....

charlize theron's character is actually a superhero herself... and hancock has no idea until midway thru the movie.  also, she and hancock are the last of their kind and were married thousands of years ago.

hancock and the female superhero are immortal... but become mortal the closer they get.  at the end of the movie, we are lead to believe that both are mortally wounded.  but then miraculously, both survive.  

i loved the twist, but that was just me!

The mom with the blonde hair shows him that he needs to get away cause if they interact then they each will get weaker and weaker and soon they will be mortals so hancock and her have to split because earlier in life they were husband and wife and hancock took a hit in the head and so on

No, here's the twist, don't read this if you don't want it spoiled.

Jason Bateman's wife is also a super hero, and she and Will Smith's character Hancock are about 3,000 years old, and used to be something like husband-and-wife. Their curse is that they feel a draw to be together, and they lose their invulnerability when they are near each other. Last time that happened, about 80 years ago, Hancock ended up in the hospital and had lost his memory, which is why he doesn't know who he is, and believe's he's the only one with super powers on the planet.
