What's the verb form(past tense) of "suicide"?

  7. Well, suicide on it's own isn't a verb, so you'll need a helping verb.  The correct past tense would be, "committed suicide."  

    Ex: The man committed suicide.

    You could also use the example the person above me gave.  "The man killed himself" or "The woman killed herself."
