What's the weather in Falmouth Jamaica like in May?

I will be going to Falmouth, Jamaica (its about 23 miles east of Montego Bay) for 10 days in May. Does anyone live there or travel there that time of the year that can tell me what I should expect. Temp? Rain? etc.....Thanks :)

The average high is 84-87 degrees Farenheit and the average low is 74-75. The time your are going is perfect since hurricane season doesn't start until june. You should have a sunny and beautiful trip!

Falmouth, and generally the entire Jamaica, has a refreshing tropical climate- One of our most appealing attraction.

Visitors swarm our shores for the food, the reggae music, the attractions et. al, but others still come just for the warm tropical climate.

The weather is generally good here all year round with temperatures ranging in the 80's and 90's during the day, and around the 70's at night.

In the winter months its a bit cooler while the summer tends to be a bit warmer as well-but nothing significant-the Jamaican climate is beautiful all year-round!

Traditionally, the rainy season begins in May or June and extends through November or December- with the heaviest rains in September and October.

Rain will however fall at any time of year, and it normally comes in short, heavy showers.

We are considered to be in the 'hurricane belt' but few hurricanes ever hit Jamaica. This hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30 each year. August and September are the peak months.

Just about like it is most of the year... highs in the 80's nights in the low 70's... may is the start of the rainy season... but too early for Hurricaines.
