What's the weather like a couple days after a hurricane?

Usually it's quiet weather and the overall pattern returns to normal.  To say nothing but blue skies isn't really accurate.  Florida's climate allows for a hurricane to pass thru but within 24 hours, typical thunderstorms can return.  It's just the way it is.
