What's the weather like around August in Central Queensland?

I'm travelling to Rockhampton in Central Queensland in the middle of August....I was really hoping to wear my nice winter clothes, will it still be COLD enough to wear them???? Can anyone tell me what the weather is like? Or will it be heating up?

The lowest 9am temp was 14.8C, with the lowest 3pm temp being 20.3C

The overnight temps ranged between 5.1C and 16.9C

sorry but it wont be cold enough.

though, hey it's unpredictable you might get lucky

it's getting hotter now and i'm in sydney which is south

definitely bring thongs(flip flops) and shorts
