What's the weather like in Florida in January?

Question

I may possibly be planning a trip to Disney World for my family as a Christmas gift, and want to go in January, if the weather is somewhat warm. So obviously I'm looking for weather in the Orlando area.

I'm not 100% sure about Orlando FL but I come from Fort Lauderdale FL and it's still pretty warm down here in January and throughout the winter months.

Let's just say that so far I haven't felt the need to wear a jacket yet during the winter - how's that for a treat?

Well, in florida it's pretty much summer year round. Through January it could probably be anywhere from 50-70 when having nice weather. Sometimes it gets a little hot, but it will most likely be in that range, 50 being pretty rare and only in early morning or late evening or if there is a strong cold front hitting at that time.

okay well i live in florida! its not hot! but to most floridains its freezing. but im from ny so i like it. in january its usually anywhere from 70-90 degress. it can get cooler or warmer so yeah

So the people that said it would be boiling were wrong, but it deffinately wont be cold!

I think it is a good time to go. But I am going in April which I think it also a good time to go!!!

I went in december and the weather was very comfortable.  It was hot, but not too hot.  My family and I were able to wear shorts and tee shirts and the sun was not killing us

It's mostly warm.  Of course, that all depends on the weather going on in the northern states.  Sometimes a cold front will come through and cool things off.  However, the cold doesn't last long.  Usually if it's cold in the morning, by noon it's nice and warm.

maybe in the  60's.

sometimes it'll go to late 50's, but thats only like early in the morning.

so bring maybe a light jacket for everyone, but other than that,

dont worry about it.
