What's the weather like in Nashville in June?

I am traveling to Nashville in June for the country music festival. Someone told me it will be horribly hot and humid.....I am in southern california, so I know all about heat and humidity, but I really dont know how Nashville's weather compares to ours. Any help will be appreciated!

hot, but you won't feel it when they start playing all those terrible commercials at the Grand Ole Opry.

The average temperature is 83 degrees and you can expect around 70-80 percent humidity. The music festival is during the 1st week of June, so it can still be pretty rainy. It will all be worth it!!
