What's the weather like in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in September?

I'm planning on taking a trip in the next couple of weeks.

September is still within the rainy season of that part of the world. Most likely it'll rain off and on.

I went to PV in November last year, and the weather couldn't have been better. I love Puerto Vallarta.

Unbelievable humidity, you can literally see the air.  Make sure the resort/hotel that you are staying in has an air-conditioned lobby, bar, restaurants, ect..

Its becoming worse: Now a new Hurrican called Henrietta comes from the south and will bring a lot of rain again.

Hot humid and miserable many bugs = Bites take lots of bug spray.

Hot and humid.  Often rains in the late afternoon.  Take plenty of clothes - everything gets sticky with the  humidity so you may be changing clothes more often than usual.
