  1. July and Aug its the rainy season right now so it rains but it doesn't get cold and you'll still be able to enjoy some good sunshine in the evening its like 60 to 65 degrees its 10:36pm here right now and its 66 degrees right now.  In the day time its warmer like 70 to 80 but in the beach its hotter between 80 to 90 you can see on Yahoo weather, that's the link for CR weather http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/CSXX00... So maybe you don't need super warm clothes just something good for the rain. Actually you might want some clothes for both hot weather and rainy. Have Fun.

  2. The average temperature in San Jose in the daytime during July and August is 27 degrees Celsius, about 81 degrees Fahrenheit.  At nigh, the temperature can go down to between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius, or 60 to 65 Fahrenheit.  It simply means you will need a sweater or light jacket at night.

It usually rains during the day. It will start at around 12 noon or 1 pm and might last until 6 or 7 pm.  These are, of course, averages.  That is not to say that it will rain every day or that it won't rain all day.  Sometimes it will rain all day or not at all.

If you are going to be on the coast, it will be warmer and drier in the Pacific, more humid and much rainier in the Atlantic..  If you are in the mountains, expect it to be cooler and rainier.  For any other information about Costa Rica, visit the TicosLand web directory.

  3. I just got back from the Manual Antonio area and I was very happy that I brought a pair of long pants and a sweatshirt.  During the day it won't be necessary - the weather is great!  But during the evenings I wore that sweatshirt almost everynight.  The temp when I was there was very consistent.  Low at 65, High at 80 and rain every late afternoon.  Since you are also going during the same season - I suspect it'll be about the same for you.  Enjoy - the area is beautiful.

  4. Nice in the morning.  Wet in the afternoon.

Some days a gentle shower, others a downpour.

  5. hey...

well, here in costa rica also rains a lot

but mostly in the afternoon only, and for 2-3 hrs

temps in manuel antonio are about 25`C at night and the day is about 33`C
