What's the weather like in these three southern towns in early spring?

In late feb-early march my Spanish club at school is going to Granada, Malaga, and Sevilla (Seville) as a small feild trip. At that time what is the weather usually like there? Is it warm enough for shorts/t-shirt/swimming in the Med.?

I know that the weather has been really strange this last couple years, so what was it like in recent years, and what is it usually like at that time?

Granada is close to the Sierra Nevadas and if the wind is from that direction it will be cold, but it could be fine otherwise. I´m not sure if it will be warm enough for shorts. Málaga you could get some good spring sunshine and it will feel warm, though I´m a resident and I will definitely not be in shorts. Sevilla at that time of the year will be about the same as Málaga. It just depends on whether you are lucky with the weather. You have more than an even chance of getting good weather. Having said that, it will be chilly at night.

it may be warm enough enough for shorts and t shirts, but i think the med will be pretty chilly still. the sun will be bright and the skies clear, but it won'yt get HOT enough to warm the sea up. sorry !

You ought to be able to swim in the Mediterranean in Málaga.  Sevilla, shorts, or pants, and short-sleeved shirts should do you ok.  you might want to carry a sweater or sweatshirt in Granada, just in case, it´s in the mountains, and cooler than the other two towns.  Probably fine in shirtsleeves during the afternoon, but some mornings will be cooler, and evenings, too.

March is a really good time to go to southern Spain.  Best weather.

Bring your bathing suit.  It takes up virtually no space, and you never know when you´re going to need it.  I learned that, in fact, the first time I went to Granada.  The gal we met on the train and shared a room with taught me that.

Usually 25º Centigrees  to 30ºC, I dont know in farengeit. And some times more hot, and good weather.
