Hi kiwis! What's the weather like over there at the moment.

My Nan in Palmerston North says it's pretty chilly. How about where you live?

Thanks in advance :)

  1. The temperature in the Castle Hill Basin, located 90km northwest of Christchurch is a bone-chilling -2.0 °C.

  2. KIWIS are having good weather

  3. ooh we had our first (?) frost this morning in Chch, i think it was our first... i'm not up much earlier than 8 in the morning ever but at 8:30 this morning the grass was still crunchy and i had to do the old pouring of water onto my car to defrost it this morning.

so yeah chilly, for sure, but the great thing about a frosty morning is an impeccably clear sunny day!

    I love NZ :-)

  4. We'll I live In Palmerston North aswell, Ashhurst actually! I could see the snow on the Ruahine ranges today. Its very chilly here but sunny (6 degrees at night) not to bad. They say it will be a warmer winter compared to pervious years e.g. 2004.  Auckland is warmer but wetter in winter it is said, Hawkes bays warm place. There been alot of heavy rain lately but its something we have needed.

Anyway you should come on back to Palmy there doing our Mall up (plaza) and the squares had a revamp looks nifty at night with all the lights & the Esplanade is going to upgraded this year aswell...Modern place it will be

I used to live in SA but missed the Manawatu too much, Natural and beautiful region
