Cutting in at lights? Overtaking on the inside? Speeding? Driving too slow?

What do you do about it?

  1. Fog lights on when no fog. I think most drivers don't know what fog lights are.

  2. As much as I hate this Big Brother state (UK) and the government telling us what we can and cant do over stupid petty things, I have to agree with the ban on using hand held mobile phones whilst driving.

Seeing cars in front swerving unstably gets me asking 'whats up with him/her in front? are they drunk?'  Very often I soon realise they have a phone to their ear and not concentrating on the road ahead. I see it all too often and just back off in that situation keeping a safer distance between myself and the car in front.

  3. Driving in the middle lane of motorways, when there is no traffic in the inside lane to overtake.

  4. tail-gating

stopping at roundabouts when nothing is coming

not being able to work out who to give way to on roundabouts

    drivers cutting across junctions

    drivers hogging lanes on motorways

drivers not matching speeds when overtaking on motorway(causing people to brake and then creating phantom traffic jams)

    drivers tailgating in the wet

drivers leaving main beams on when driving towards you

drivers flashing others in front on motorways to move over and let them past even though the driver they're flashing is already doing the legal speed limit

old people that drive at 40mph on 60mph speed limits then dont slow to 30 when they reach towns or village speed limits

drivers that dont pay attention to what lane to be in when approaching roundabouts and then cut people up

drivers that pull out in jams to prevent bikers from getting past

drivers that dont pay attention to bikers

drivers that fail to see bikers altogether

    drivers that hate bikers

drivers that feel they need to have fog lights on even when its not foggy and also when its light!!!

drivers that accelerate as if they're in a village evn though they're joining a motorway.

and chavs that seem to think its fine to speed EVERY WERE!!!!!

one last thing- people who crash because they cant handle a car!!

Well thats made me feel alot better- i know it was just asking for the worst fault but obviously i have many issues with bad drivers.

  5. Zooming round bends and over narrow bridges with a phone clutched to their ears. I see it a lot with delivery drivers. Guess they're on a very tight schedule so, come the revolution, I'd make sure they got enough time to do their job without jeopardising other people

  6. Failing to acknowledge or say 'thank-you' when somebody gives way (yields-US) to them.

  7. Having the audacity to be on the same road as me!!

  8. Using mobile phones!

  9. driver chatting on the mobile.

if it is safe, i pass them slowly with the horn on continuously so they can't carry on their conversation.

or at least the person on the other end might hear they are on the road and hang up.

  10. 16-24 year old females texting on there pink razors blabbing about who kissed who on laguna beach last night.

    sorry ladies

  11. I agree with just about all the previous answers and would like to add the one that I hate to see . A child without any form of safety restraint, and worst of all,an adult passenger with a very young child/baby sitting on their lap with the seatbeltaround the two of them.It terrifies me that these people are putting the lives of children at risk. With many of the other faults they can just be a pain and the experienced drivers can handle the day to day rubbish driving we see,but I find the total lack of care for a young passenger very worrying,no,frightening.

  12. Driving too close to me - I just slow right down to really irritate them!

  13. Drivers that are not paying attention to the road because they are too busy yakking on their cell phone. They always seem to drive too slow or they can't keep a constant speed on the highway.

Drivers that tailgate, speed, run red lights and cut in and out of lanes without using a signal.

  14. Hesitation at roundabouts.  See it every day.

There is nothing I can do about it!

  15. Hm there are so many!

    1.  Not indicating

    2.  Leaving huge gaps when in a queue thus making the queue much   longer than it needs to be.

    3.  Going so slow you could walk faster.

    4.  Tailgating

These are the three worst as far as I am concerned.

  16. Being idiots

  17. Not using the motorway properly - staying in middle and right lane when there is no vehicle o overtake.

Driving straight over a roundabout when taking the second exit - results in cutting up drivers.

Also what DAVE C said below:

"Rubber neckers!!!! If there is an accident on the opposite side of the motorway why do I have to sit in a traffic jam because you want to look at it. JUST STOP IT."

Very annoying and heard on this radio this week that was happening, an accident on the west bound but east bound is slow as drivers are slowing down to have a look - ******* IDIOTS.

  18. Not using blinkers. It seems that no one remembers that using a blinker is not an option. They are there for a reason!

  19. Notice anything unusual about all these responses?

It is all about the driver; it is never the vehicle. And yet we are deluded into believing that we have the safest vehicles that seemingly will protect us from our own stupidity. Ain't never gonna happen - not for a long while anyway.

Until we as drivers take a closer look at how well we operate our vehicle while considering all the affects and influences around us and then resolve to be more attentive to what we are doing, the deaths, injuries and carnage will continue.

  20. i once seen a bloke on the motorway getting a BJ, not sure if thats the worst driving fault though

  21. Not paying enough attention to other road users.

  22. Not coming down to 20, 30, or 40mph in urban areas, and not getting up to an appropriate speed on national limit single and dual carriageways...  and yes, sat in the middle lane, needing us all to go around them.

  23. Most common? Not bothering to use their signal light. Drives me nuts.

  24. Lack of using turn signals.........

  25. Using phones.

I cant do anything about it .The police should enforce these rules.

  26. Drivers who tail gate, then overtake when its not safe-- then slow down and turn into their driveway!!

  27. Hogging the middle lane on a motorway when there is nothing in the inside lane.

"Old people".  Myopic, can't use the accelerator and can't read roadsigns.

"Young people".  Use the accelerator too much and in very inappropriate places - Think they can out accelerate everyone, don't read the road, don't understand the implications of driving at speed with a phone to their ear whilst sorting their "banging tune" on the cd player and putting those stupid neon lights on the car.

People who don't understand what it takes to stop a truck or a coach and cut them up.

People who don't understand what its like to ride a motorcycle in torrential rain, and how differently you have to ride to ensure you stay on the thing.

People who tail gate (No worries for me really - company car with emergency brake assist.  If I stop CAN YOU? If you hit me you will be off the road until your car is repaired - I will have another car in 2 hours).

Rubber neckers!!!!  If there is an accident on the opposite side of the motorway why do I have to sit in a traffic jam because you want to look at it.  JUST STOP IT.

Oh dear - time for a lay down now in a darkened room!!

  28. People who drive at 70mph in the outside lane on the motorway.

..or even people that are doing like 75mph... ITS TOO SLOW TO BE OVERTAKING IN THAT LANE!!!!!!!!!

    jesus.

Sometimes, i think everyone should just pull over when I'm coming up the road.

  29. Their Speed, In A 30 They Do 60 And In A 60 They Do 30

    :@

    Cant They Read?

Where's This Going To End Up?

    Thanks. :D
