hurricane wilma in 2005 winds over 70 mph across all south florida and for everybody in south florida lost power. it also destroyed many houses and killed like 20 people

Well their was this really bad storm during a swim meat 1 time. Ya it got canceled.

June 2007 long weekend storm. Torrential rain and very windy. Did $1.3 billion worth of damage and 10 lives were lost as a result of the storm. this was classified as a natural disaster.

Marriage. Aside from that Hurricane Ivan plus 5 others that followed in 2004, Long Beach Quake, Northridge Quake, Los Angeles Riots (was that natural?)

The 1970 earthquake in Gadiz, Turkey.  It was around an 8 pointer and killed about 2,000 people.

In 2004, I was in South Carolina on vacation when Hurricane Charlie hit! It was pretty scary. Luckily, the people we were vacationing with had a relative close by, so we stayed there when the hotels forced us to evacuate :D
